Formatting, tables and page setup
The toolbar: text styles, alignment, lists, tables and page breaks.
The toolbar across the top of the editor. Most of it behaves as it would in Word.

Ctrl+B,Ctrl+I,Ctrl+U.- Strikethrough, Superscript, Subscript
- Font Family

- Clear Formatting
Strips styling back to plain text. The fix for pasted content that arrived with someone else's formatting.
Highlighting is for drafts
It prints. If you highlight a passage while deciding on wording, clear it before exporting.
Paragraphs
- Align Left, Center, Right, Justify
- Increase Indent / Decrease Indent
Moves a list item a level in or out. They work on lists only, and stay greyed out elsewhere — to indent an ordinary paragraph, press
Tab.- Line Spacing
Single, 1.15, 1.5, Double, 2.5 or 3, and Reset to put a paragraph back to the spacing the rest of the certificate uses.
- Bullet List / Numbered List
- Blockquote
- Horizontal Rule
Lining things up
Tab indents the line you are on and Shift+Tab takes the indent back. Inside a table Tab still moves to the next cell, and inside a list it still moves the item a level deeper.
Spaces are kept exactly as you type them, so a Place: and a Date: can be lined up by eye and a signature block can be pushed across the page. Blank lines are kept the same way.
What you line up in the editor is what prints.
Tables
Table Options inserts a table and, once your cursor is inside one, adds or removes rows and columns.
The asset and liability schedules are already tables. You can add a column for a remark, or a row for something the wizard had no section for.
Warning
Adding a row to a schedule does not add it to the certificate's data, so the net worth total will not include it. If a holding is missing, add it in the wizard instead — then the total is right and it survives into the next version.
Page breaks
Ctrl+Shift+Enter, or the toolbar button, forces the next content onto a new page.
Useful for keeping a schedule from splitting across a page boundary, or for starting the signature block on its own page.
Each enclosed Statement or Annexure already starts on a new page, and the signature block is kept on one page, so a break is only needed where you want one that is not there.
Undo and redo
Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y. The history covers this editing session.
Code Block
Present in the toolbar, inherited from the underlying editor. There is no reason to use it on a certificate.
