From an empty account to a signed PDF in about ten minutes, without touching Tally.
From an empty account to a signed PDF, without touching Tally. About ten minutes.
Add the client
Open Clients and choose Add client
Or use New at the top of any page.
Enter the name
Full name is the only field you need to begin.
Add the PAN and address if you have them
They print on the certificate. You can add them later.
Save
Start the certificate
Open New at the top right
Its Certificates column lists every purpose. Open it from your client's page and the client is already chosen.
Pick Visa / Foreign Embassy
Under Net Worth & Financial Position, and the commonest. The other net worth purposes work the same way. Visa net worth certificate, in the dashboard's Quick start, goes to the same wizard.
Fill the six steps
Basic Details
Choose your client under Select Existing Clients, then set the Certificate Date and Engagement Date. Leave the embassy fields and the currency blank for now.
Financial Assets
Add one bank account — bank name, account number, holder, balance. Enough to see it work.
Market Assets
Skip it. An empty section prints nothing.
Physical & Other
Skip it too, or add a property if you want to see the schedule fill out.
Liabilities
Add a loan, or skip. Net worth is assets less liabilities either way.
Review & Issue
Check the net worth summary, pick the issuing firm, and enter a UDIN.
Note
Nothing has been charged yet. Everything up to this point — including submitting the wizard — is free.
Export it
Create certificate, at the foot of the last step, takes you to the A4 editor, showing the certificate as it will print. Most need no editing at all.
Choose Export PDF, at the foot of the editor, and you have the PDF.
Generating this certificate costs credits. You are shown the exact cost in the confirmation before it runs, and the current price list is on Settings → Credits and billing.
What you have learned
- Clients are reused
That client is now available to every document you make for them.
- Net worth is computed
You entered holdings; OptiVida totalled them. There is no field for the total.
- Charging happens at export
Not when you start, and not while you work.
- Re-exporting is free
A certificate is charged once, ever. Fix a typo and export again at no cost.
