The client hub
One page per client, with a tab for each kind of work you do for them.
Opening a client gives you everything you have done for them, with a tab per kind of work.
Getting there
Clientspick oneOr from the dashboard's recent clients, or from search.
The header
The same on every tab: the client's name and type, then their PAN, industry for a business, the date they were added and their address. Clients, above the name, takes you back to the list.
- Edit
Opens the client's details for editing. Unavailable while the client is archived.
- … (more actions)
Archive, or Restore for a client already archived.
An archived client's pages also say so in a banner, with a Restore button of its own.
The tabs
- Overview
What is in progress for this client, their particulars, and the profile that signs for you.
- Certificates
Every certificate for this client, drafts included, with its status and certificate date. Search by purpose, or narrow the list to Drafts or Issued. New certificate starts one with the client already chosen.
- CMA Reports
By financial year, with the bank template and status. New CMA report starts one for this client.
- Tax Audit
By financial year, with the source and status. New tax audit starts one for this client.
- Statements
One set per financial year, with its format and status. New statements lists the formats; pick one and its workspace opens.
- Ledger
Every bank statement uploaded for this client and posted into Tally, with its bank ledger, period and status. Opens the import's review page. New imports can start here with the client already chosen.
- Scrutiny
The client's scrutiny runs, one per period. Choose the financial year, then New run.
- Documents
- Not yet built, and says so.
Why two reports start from the client
A CMA report and a Form 3CD both cover one entity's books for one year. Starting from the client settles the entity before you begin — and lets next year's report find last year's.
Worth remembering
New, then CMA Report, at the top of any page, asks which client before it goes any further. There is no way to start one without choosing the client first.
Certificates are different. They can start from New, with the client chosen inside the wizard.
The New menu
On a client's pages, New at the top right is already set to that client and says so at the top of the menu, so nothing asks you which client you mean. The cross beside the name clears it for that menu. An archived client's pages leave it unset.
Two entries, Stock Statement and QIS Report, appear but are not yet available.
What the Overview tab is for
When a client rings and asks what you have done for them recently, this is the page.
- Next steps
Recent CMA and tax audit reports not yet generated, and certificate drafts, each with a button to carry on. With nothing in progress it says so, and offers New certificate.
- Recent CMA reports
The three most recently updated, with their status. View all opens the tab. Shown once the client has one.
- Recent tax audit reports
- The same, for tax audits.
- Client details
The particulars as they will print, with when the client was added and last updated.
- Signing profile
Your default CA profile. Manage profiles opens your profiles in Settings.
There is no create menu on the tab itself: New, at the top right, is already set to this client.
